Hi! I'm Hopscotch! I'm a short hair tabby cat with a little tortie mixed in- a torbie! I have ultra fun markings on my side and bits of brown spots in my stripes. I love to romp and play with my siblings and foster pals but I'm also a girl who tucks away for a little solo time to snooze. I'm a little more independent than the others here. I still love to chase crunch balls, springs, toy mice or play with the ball tower. Sometimes I hide on a dining room chair ro gwt away from everyone since no one seems to know to look for me there. I like the kids I live with because the know when I'm done playing. Usually in short sports. I'd do ok with kids who know boundaries, especially older kids or adults. I have a kink in my tail and my eye show the signs of life before rescue that make me a little jumpy. Luckily I'm not afraid at all because my foster family is so good at knowing boundaries. I dont love being held but I do love being on your lap and getting pets. I love sleeping next to my foster mom at night warm and cozy in bed with the other foster cats. Apparently it's a kitten sleeping party. I haven't met a dog yet but would likely do ok with slow intros. I'd love to have another kitty friend, either someone from here or maybe you have someone at home who needs a friend. I'm a short, stout, beautiful girl ready to meet my new family.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
