Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
On 12/14/24 I visited Malibu in her kennel. She was sitting at the front trembling. I offered treats and she exhibited fret/fidget behavior. I entered her kennel and sat down, turned away from her, avoiding eye contact. Eventually, she slowly approached me with a curious sniff. I offered my hand and she allowed gentle petting. Eventually she just crawled into my lap. She was trying to get through the crack in the door so I closed the door fully and shifted away from her to the back of the kennel. She began eating the treats and took them nicely by hand. She then sought me out for affection. Nervous, but sweet.
