Hi! I'm Slate! I'm an approximately 11 month old, male, Redbone Coonhound/Lab mix who weighs around 60lbs. I was surrendered on 12/13/2024 because my owner was moving and could not take me. I am a fun-loving boy who enjoys everyone's company! I love hugs and I love to spend time socializing. According to my previous owner, I am crate trained and house trained. I was excellent on a leash and am working on basic commands. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination and basic boosters and am heartworm negative! IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.

Dogs are tested for heartworms (if old enough), spayed/neutered, microchipped, given DHLP-P and rabies shots and given a dewormer for an adoption fee of $125.

Cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, given FVRCP-PN and rabies shots and given a dewormer for an adoption fee of $75.
