A few weeks ago we received this devastating plea for help:
It was brought to my attention that a senior woman who feeds two cats is being threatened and bullied while feeding them. A terrible man forbid her from walking on the sidewalk in front of his home and threatened her if he caught her walking past. The cats were also kicked out of the yard they were being cared for in and now they sit on the sidewalk all day and night while taking cover under a pick up truck to stay warm together. The neighbor (whose former yard they once stayed) said she is going to place them in carriers and dump them in a park.
These cats have no winter shelter and live on a sidewalk with no where to go, near people who absolutely despise them and have threatened to trap and dump them. Please can you help them??”
WE HAD TO HELP THEM…
Jack (white) and Annie (white and grey) are now warm and happy in foster care. They are sweet and loving, totally forgiving of their previous mistreatment by humans. This adorable pair are a few years old, fixed and up to date with vaccines. They find comfort in each others company and must be adopted together. If you can give Jack and Annie the home they so deserve for the holidays, please fill out a feline application at www.ehrcats.org
