Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Of the litter of 5, (Hazel, Aspen, Cedar, Sequoia), Maple is the friendliest. She’s the first to greet everyone and has the loudest, happiest purr! She’s very active wrestling with her siblings. She’s high energy, and is easily distracted. She’s so interested in what’s going on, she sometimes forgets to eat. (She prefers wet cat food.) Maple absolutely loves the wand toys!! She will often grab them, then growl at the others to back off! She’ll then carry it around in her mouth like a trophy! She’d be best with another kitten to help her with her energetic personality. Maple has no fear of exploring. She found her way into the towel cupboard and made herself a little nest! The others soon found out and joined her. She’s not afraid of the big cats in the house, going right up to them and even swatting back when needed. She has never met a dog. She keeps her beautiful marking and lovely soft fur clean. The one time she had a bath, she hardly said 2 words and ended up purring, even though she wasn’t a fan of the running water. And her black lipstick and eyeliner is always perfectly in place! She loves to cuddle up with you at nap time, often crawling into your jacket!

Additional adoption info
CCHS has animals available for adoption through a number of different avenues. Many of our kittens and all dogs are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted. Teenage, adult, senior and special-needs cats reside at Kitty Corner, an on-site, private cat shelter where cats are allowed to free-roam at all times, lounge in sunny windows and on comfy cat towers, and play to their heart's galore. Similarly, we also have animals available for adoption through our Re-Homing Assistance Program, where we help to advertise animals that caregivers are no longer able to keep.
If you are interested in meeting any of the animals listed on our website, please complete an adoption application unless otherwise noted!
Adoption fees are:
Kittens under 6mo: $130 ($200 for two)
Cats over 6mo: $90 ($150 for two)
Puppies under 6mo: $225
Dogs over 6mo: $175
