Meet Horus! At just 8 months old, he is an independent kitty who is learning to trust the world. He came to us after he was found abandoned on the side of the road. Naturally, he is a little shy at first but with a little time and patience he blossoms into a love and affection companion.
Horus would thrive in a quitter home where he can feel safe and have his own space. We suspect he isn’t fan of dogs but might do well with another cat friend. Once he is comfortable, he enjoys playtime and showing his sweet side. If you are looking loyal and lowkey companion, Horus is ready to meet you.
Horus is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and neutered.

Founded by Vivian Goldbloom in 2013, Emerald City Pet Rescue exists to rescue abused, neglected, and homeless animals from high-volume shelters around the country.

We pride ourselves on providing the best medical care possible for our rescued animals and rehabilitating hard-to-adopt animals to help them increase their chances of finding loving homes.

Our screening process includes meet and greets, reference checks, and a visit to the potential owner’s home to ensure the home and family are compatible with the pet’s needs and our requirements. We do everything we can to ensure that loving homes are found for these amazing pets.

Emerald City Pet Rescue is run by dedicated staff and volunteers who give their time and resources to house, train, rehabilitate, and care for our animals. Above all else, we truly believe that Love Can Save Lives.
