My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mia and Lili are 2 of 3 sisters born under a NE Salem apartment complex. A tenant in that complex called the local Salem rescuers asking for help. She stated a man was approaching teens offering $5.00 for any size cat. They overheard he wanted them for dog fight bait and for snake food. With all the rescues and local shelters having no room, a lady decided to rescue the whole family and foster the 3 sister. The parents were fully vetted and placed in a good home.
Mia and Lili are similar in personality as they are both somewhat shy and don't wander far from each other.  They are bonded and need to stay together. Both love to sleep together and watch live kitty tv of birds and small animals out in nature. She also has a cute shrimping sound when she is happy.

Mia loves to carry things in her mouth like toys and even a med size pool noddle and tried to carry it up the tall cat tree to share with her sisters. Mia also loves to sit by the window and watch people pass by, she loves crunchy treats and is a good way to get her to feel comfortable. Once Mia feels comfortable and safe she will allow human touch cuddles and pets but patience and understanding is the key for both Mia and Lili. She is curious, sweet and very easy going toward other kitties. At times all 3 love chasing each other from one side of the house to the other then fall sleep together for hrs. All 3 sisters love wearing cute kitty outfits and have warm beds with small flannel blankets.

Lili is super sweet and she has a playful side to her -  if you start petting her the little purr motor turns on and she likes to give gentle love bites and grabs your hands with her paws. Lili is motherly and loves to groom her sister Mia and lets her get comfortable next to her while she wraps her body to cuddle her sister. Once Mia is comfy Lili likes to visit her foster kitty siblings and plays tug of war a bit with them, then returns and cuddles her sister.   All 3 sisters are Spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, are on monthly flea revolution, FVI/FELV negative as well as chipped.

They are litter box trained are healthy and have a healthy appetite.
The foster mom's  recommendation is for Mia to go into a quieter household with adults or seniors who are willing to let Mia, Lili and hopefully Lulu decompress, feel safe and begin to thrive and live their best life.

Having all 3 of these precious kitties have been a privilege and I know they will make a family very happy with their tender and sweet quirky personality.  Rehoming fee is $250 for the pair.  All 3 to the same home will also be $250 as they love and play together. This playful 3-some (including sister Lulu) live in Salem with their caregivers.

More about this rescue

Cat's Cradle Rescue keeps cats out of shelters by offering an alternative to a cage - we are a no-kill FOSTER-HOME BASED rescue group that welcomes cats to our home environments as they await adoption.

Why Foster Care? Does your new kitty like children? Does she play with dogs or find other felines too uncomfortable to be around? Does he have consistent litter-box manners? Does he want to cuddle or perhaps his comfort zone is to be more independent. Many life-factors influence cat behavior and while genetics plays a role, we know that human touch, kindness, nurturing and consistency of care are non-negotiable requirements. We provide all of this.
