My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

.Animal Profile: Sparrow is a 8 week old Cattle Dog/Chi X (guessing), but they are true "Heinz 57 variiety" puppies who will be joining us along with her 6 siblings from Texas on 12/09. Sadly their mom who was a petit brown Texas dog was posioned when they were 2 weeks old and the local shelter reached out to our rescue partner for help, who immediately took them in. They were bottle feed and are now thriving and healthy. They are friendly with dogs, cats and kids. These puppies are being raised in a foster home with other animals and small children, and will be great family pets.

Foster Update: Sparrow is learning to potty outside and currently working to conquer the stairs (she can go up just not down yet), seems resilient, not afraid of much, and loves a good snuggle, loves all people, she is not an alpha and is submissive to resident dog but loves to play. Curious, and a fast learner. She is a soft and floofy little gal and will bring joy to anyone’s home.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.

Animal History: This dog is being transferred from Animal Advocacy & Rescue our partner in Del Rio Texas and arriving via Paws Up Rescue on 12/09/2024 to the Seattle area. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.
