Animal Profile: Lucille (Lucy)is a 3month old Cattle dog X who will be joining us along with her sister from Texas on 12/09. Sadly their mom who was brought to shelter along with her babies didn't survive, the shelter reached out to our rescue partner for help with the two sisters, they immediately took them in they are safe in a foster home waiting for their freedom ride to the PNW. They are friendly with dogs, cats and kids. These puppies are in a foster home with other animals and have been around small children and are gental and sweet, they will be great family pets.
Foster Update: Meet Lucy! This sweet, soulful girl is ready to bring so much love and light into your life. With her warm, expressive eyes, she’ll capture your heart in no time. Lucy is naturally curious but can be a little shy as she settles into new surroundings. She is food motivated and seems keen to learn. She just needs your patience and understanding to feel safe and confident. Apartment living will not be what she's looking for; she will let you know she’s not a fan of being in her crate and away from you for too long. She’s looking for a home where she can grow with strong, steady guidance and lots of encouragement. If you’re ready to let Lucy teach you how to slow down and take things one step at a time, she could be the one for you. While Lucy could share her space with another dog, she’d truly thrive as the center of attention in a home filled with love and care. We are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard for this little girl.
Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.

Animal History: This dog is being transferred from Animal Advocacy & Rescue our partner in Del Rio Texas and arriving via Paws Up Rescue on 12/09/2024 to the Seattle area. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.
