My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hank, an irresistibly sweet and laid-back kitten looking for his forever home!

He stands out among kittens for his social and outgoing nature. At home, Hank is the ultimate cuddle buddy. He loves curling up next to his humans, providing comfort with his soft purrs and biscuit making.

When he’s not snuggling, Hank enjoys playful sessions with feather wands and wrestling with his kitten friends, He loves to take breaks from playing by basking in sunny spots and napping upside down.

Hank gets along well with other cats as well as dogs, and is known for his extremely friendly and social nature. He would thrive in a loving home where he can continue to spread his warmth and joy. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and easy-going kitten, Hank is the perfect match!

Hank had a rough beginning with medical issues - he has had a congested nose since he was a baby and has gone through multiple rounds of treatment. His nose is much better now and not currently showing any symptoms. The vet believes that there is probably a structural issue with Hank’s nose, making him more susceptible to infections. However, they also think his issue may go away as his nose grows bigger.

Our kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

All of our kittens must go to homes where they will remain inside 24/7.

Young kittens must go home in pairs, or to a home with another cat. Infrequently we will make exceptions.

We'd love to schedule a meet & greet with you and the kittens! If you're interested in adopting, please visit our website and fill out an application: https://toniskittyrescue.org/adoption-application

More about this rescue

Toni, our founder, started fostering underage kittens that came into the local municipal shelter in 2000. By 2003 she had a network of foster parents and was saving many little lives so she became a non-profit. As of 2023 we are no longer with the shelter and are on our own. We have only one part-time employee and a dedicated group of fosters. All our kittens are vaccinated and spayed/neutered and receive all necessary medical care while in our care. We taken in strays from our partner trappers and from high-kill and over-crowded shelters, specializing in neo-nates and kittens under 6 weeks.
