Benji is an adorable classic, swirl tabby with a velvet coat. This handsome and sleek young boy is very athletic. He loves to scale heights and zoom around! But when it is time to slow down, he is a purring machine – so gentle and sweet as he comes in for nuzzles and cuddles. Benji will keep you company as you work, read, or strike a yoga pose.... Benji loves other kittens and cats (especially his sis Abby KRLA-A-85063). Benji craves action, exploring and climbing. He follows you to see what fun you will provide. He loves kitty scratching posts, batting and chasing kitty balls and rattle mice, and playing interactively with wand toys. Get ready for high energy zoomies! When it is time to rest, a cat tree or wall mount is a castle for Sir Benjamin to observe the world. He also purrs upon touch and likes to curl up nearby for a deep snooze. In just a little time, Benji’s outgoing nature will shine through.

We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
