Fozzy Bear is a sweet Muppet who loves to play play play, lounge in a sunny window, and keep you company as you work, read, or practice yoga. Although initially shy, Fozzy’s extraverted personality wins out. He loves other kittens and cats and will make friends with even the most aloof feline. He will chirp to his feline buddies to join in the fun! He likes his humans, too. Fozzy will bat a ball near you to see if you will bat it back. He likes to be picked up and purrs when you hold him. He is a rascally young kitty, but well-mannered at the same time. Fozzy is so soft. He has a beautiful fluffy black coat with grey undertones and gold green eyes. He has the sweetest mew! Fozzy loves kitty scratching posts and playing interactively with wand and track toys. He is a scaler of heights, and a cat tree is his castle from which he observes the world. No wallflower, this long-haired doll will eventually rule the roost! Fozzy Bear is simply put a spectacular boy.

We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
