HI - I'M BRODY! I'm a handsome pit mix who needs a foster or forever home! I am about 4-years old, weigh 68 lbs., and am a lovebug. I love to snuggle! I was rescued from a California shelter awhile back and now am in the Greater Seattle area. Back in the day, I was a shelter favorite and helped the staff in the office. I also take treats gently. I have done well with some other dogs in the past. I would probably do well with a calm female dog. I do have some resource guarding issues when it comes to food, but otherwise am a good boy. I would do best in a quiet home with a single person, a couple or a family with teenage kids. Please email for an application.

We have an extensive application and spend time with potential applicants to make sure we match people with the right dogs. We also have a 100% return policy as we understand sometimes adoptions just do not work out.

Freedom Ride Rescue Inc. is an active 501(c)(3) animal rescue based in Ventura, Calif. We rescue dogs and cats primarily from overcrowded California shelters, and do our best to find wonderful homes for them. We also take in many owner surrenders every year. We adopt dogs to people in many states, and have a high success rate with our adoptions. We do our best to match people with the right dogs.
