My name is Shadow!

This sweet boy is up for adoption because one of his owners has passed away and the other has advanced dementia and can no longer care for him. He has unfortunately been neglected due to nobody being able to take him in and has been staying at a house by himself, being fed daily but having minimal interaction with humans, so he has some suspected separation anxiety.

He is about 2 years old. We are looking for a loving home to take him in that can handle his energetic nature and love for pets and playing with his favorite toys - plastic springs! Shadow loves to talk to you while you give him attention. He'll even come sit on your lap sometimes once he's comfortable with you! He likes to look out the window to watch birds and squirrels outside, is litter box trained, and is trained to eat in one spot every meal time.

His only downsides are that he likes to play in his water bowl and he doesn't like to have his claws clipped. Other than that, he's a very sweet boy.
