Minnie is a 6-year-old female domestic shorthair cat with a gentle and reserved nature. She can be a little shy at first, but with patience and a quiet environment, she’ll slowly begin to warm up and show her affectionate side. Minnie thrives in a calm, understanding home where she can feel safe and secure. Once she feels comfortable, she’s sure to become a loving and loyal companion. If you’re willing to give her the time and space she needs, Minnie will reward you with her sweet, quiet companionship.

We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment ONLY. If you are interested in adopting, please contact us via email at jcas@co.johnson.in.us or call 317-738-6090 during regular business hours. We will happily help get an application to you. Once an application is submitted and approved, we can contact you to set an appointment to meet the pet!

Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs, $75 for kittens under 6 months of age and $50 for all cats 6 months and older. This will include a rabies vaccination (if age appropriate), spay or neuter, a microchip with registration, and all other age appropriate vaccinations.

More about this shelter

We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
