Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sugar is a 16-month-old, 45-pound, sweet, cuddly and affectionate, female white terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian.
Sugar was abandoned in the West Englewood neighborhood. Tied to a fence by her family, and covered with fleas and flea bites, she had been fully vetted a year ago as part of the PAWS for Life program. We reached out to her “family” multiple times with no response. They had told neighbors they just didn’t want her.
I can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t love this dog! She is cuddly, loving, full of kisses and tail wags, great with dogs, cats, and kids.
The family never walked her … just let her in the backyard, so everything is new to her. She’s quiet, sweet, and great in the car. Since she’s a puppy, she still chews when bored and left to her own devices, but she is crate-trained. She goes willingly into the crate for a treat. She knows sit and would love to learn more with your guidance.
Sugar is underweight, but now extremely healthy, spayed, up-to-date on rabies, distemper, leptospirosis and bordetela vaccines, microchipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative.
Her adoption fee of $175 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. She comes complete with everything you need to care for her.
