Hello Sedona,

My name is Rafael and I am a charming 3-year-old male cat with sleek white/orange fur. I am pretty shy with a personality as sharp as my hunting skills. If your are in a need of a little pest control at your home or on your ranch... I am the feline for the job! Please don’t let my working cat reputation fool you, I love curling up for cuddles once my `shift` is over. I am independent but I appreciate a cozy lap and a scratch behind my ears.

I am up to date on my vaccines, microchipped and neutered. If you are looking for an indoor/outdoor hunting feline... I look forward to spending the rest of my life by your side!

Our Mission
The Humane Society of Sedona is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets in our community and beyond. The Society has served the Verde Valley since 1966.

The Linda and Allan Brecher Center for Animals at the society is designed to allow every person, who desires the love of a pet, to adopt and provide a forever loving home. The Center provides quality care and positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable pets. Passionate volunteers help walk and socialize the pets in our care. Foster pet parents are an important part of caring for pets outside the Center.

The Society provides vital services for pets and people alike through income-based affordable spay/neuter surgeries and vaccination clinics. Also, for families in need to feed their pets, we have a Pet Food Program.

Another public resource is our adult and youth educational programs.

The Society relies on community support, contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the Society’s thrift stores and some fees for service in order to save pets’ lives.
