Lucky Lady is a friendly and affectionate girl who instantly wins hearts. From the moment she walks into the room, she’s all about love—leaning in for pets, climbing into laps, and even sneaking in kisses! She takes treats gently, knows how to “sit,” and allows all handling with ease.
While she’s curious about toys and playtime, her true passion is being close to people and soaking up all the love she can.
If you’re looking for a loyal pal who’s equal parts playful and cuddly, Lucky Lady could be the gal for you!
Eligible for rescue and adoption. Meet Lucky Lady at ACCT Philly any day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Behavioral:
Per short term foster 12/17: Lucky Lady was an absolute star during her short term foster time with me. She was calm in the car ride and was able to walk loose on the leash once we left ACCT. She got a bath and splooted in the bath tub, very tolerant of all handling in the bath, toweling off, and putting on harness. Did not react negatively to any handling of paws, ears, face etc even in areas near recent injuries. Once bathed she was a cuddly monster and just wanted to sit in your lap and give kisses. Her favorite thing to do is to sit with you on the couch and get as close to your face as possible and receive pets. Pulled lightly on leash when she saw food on the ground but otherwise was redirectable and was able to walk loose on leash. Jogged easily on leash and able to heel. Learned sit command quickly, treat motivated. Takes treats very gently. Had absolutely no dog reactivity, even when other dogs would lunge or bark at her she did not even make eye contact, bark, or run away she just continued her walk calmly. Seemed interested to meet dogs and easily redirectable. Did not have any reactivity to loud sounds in the city - passed multiple strollers, ambulances, bikes, skateboards without any reaction. Met two outdoor cats and she was interested to sniff but then moved on without any reaction. Very calm temperament at home, just wants to sit with you on the couch. When left in crate alone cried for <5 mins and then would self soothe and lie down. Gulped down 100% of breakfast and dinner quickly. Had one pee accident in the house, was corrected on where to go potty, and then did all her business #1 and #2 outside for the rest of her stay. Did not hear her bark one time during her stay with me. She let out a small "boof" when someone knocked on the door, but no other barking. Lucky Lady is a mature, remarkably cuddly, low maintenance, and loving pup who deserves a home!!!! We loved her so much!!!!!
12/14/24 staff noted: Lucky Lady did well for her dog meet today but did get uncomfortable at one point and gave a small correction. She gave nice sniffs and mid level wags until the other dog jumped on her back. Then her tail stopped wagging and went low, her hackles came up, and her body got stiff. She gave a small correction but Robby responded well and gave her some space. She would do best with a very calm dog and slow intros to give her the time and space to warm up.
