Meet Onyx!
Onyx came to us when she was unable to relocate with her previous owner. Now, she is ready to find herself a forever home! Onyx is very easy going and chill. She just wants to live a simple, happy life! Such as chasing tennis balls all day and getting tasty snacks whenever she can! Onyx knows "sit" and "paw". She is very smart, and loves being rewarded with treats for her tricks! Onyx does well with other dogs. She has done well meeting cats. If Onyx is the perfect pup for you, please fill out an application for her today!

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Check out all of the pets on our website and or stop in to meet them at the shelter.

2.

Submit Application

Submit an adoption application and wait for an adoption counselor to contact you about your approval.

3.

Approve Application

Come in to meet the pet and make sure they are a good fit. If you have a dog in the home we require dog to dog meet and greets.

4.

Take the Pet Home

Once you have found the best fit you will take the pet home for a two week foster trial period.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the end of the two week period, come back into the shelter to finalize your adoption and enjoy your new best friend!

Shelter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-4:30. We also participate is various adoption events throughout the year.
