Meet Duke, a 7 yr old Mini Aussie/BC mix. He has a soft black/tan/ and white, medium coat. Duke found himself in a shelter, picked ip as a stray, not claimed by his owner.
Duke is social and friendly with all dogs. He is great with his foster sisters, running with them in the back yard. He is great on a leash, and LOVES his walks. Exercise is essential for him, he needs to lose a few lbs, to be at his ideal weight. Duke is house trained, and sleeps quietly in his kennel at night, and while foster parents are gone from the house.
Duke hasn’t shown much interest in toys, but enjoys chewing on a good bone. He knows “sit, shake, outside”, and has good recall. He is very treat motivated, with a soft mouth, and eager to learn. Duke enjoys being with his humans, and loves to snuggle, with belly rubs and ear scratches.
Duke is very friendly and likes all humans. He has not met small children. He would be a great addition to a family with another dog, or solo to have all your attention!
Duke is being fostered in the Kansas City area.
