My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

KC is a beautiful 7 year old long hair calico, who came to us from a local shelter recently. She was in a community cat room with other cats, including her cat friend "Vie". With a proper introduction she may do well having a cat friend in her new home. Understandably a little shy at first, KC warms right up with gentle pets and a calm touch. She enjoys being with people and is sweet and affectionate

More about this rescue

Golden Oldies Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in June 2016.
Our mission is to be a resource and advocate for older cats in Monterey County. We re-home older cats in Monterey County whose guardians can no longer care for them, or those who are at risk in local shelters. We place these cats in temporary foster homes and then find permanent loving homes for them enriching the lives of both the cats and their new humans.
We promise a lifetime commitment to the cats in our care. They either will be adopted or will live out their lives in one of our foster homes.
Golden Oldies is led by a board who share a vision of helping older cats in Monterey County live out their remaining years in safe, secure and loving homes. We are all volunteer and 100 percent foster-based
