My name is Charlie!

Charlie is a smart little cookie, and she’s fittingly snack-size. She comes complete with wide eyes, a creaky lil meow, and a love for freeze-dried salmon. She might look like a normal tabby at first glance, but if you look a little closer, you’ll see flashes of orange peeking through. Look out for her two orange toes!

Charlie’s wary by nature, but she can’t deny how good a thorough petting feels!  If you can manage to surprise her with a pet down her back, she’ll arch right up into it. She’s still a little head shy, but she is quickly learning that an incoming hand means only good things. She does well with routine and always greets her foster at the bottom of the stairs with a soft little “hello.”

Want to see her scramble? Show her a treat, then toss it. She’ll bolt for it. If you offer her a treat directly, she’ll quickly but delicately take it from your hand. Better yet, hold the treat over her head and ask her to “sit up”—she’s nearly mastered the trick! Charlie would do best in a quiet home without children, where she’ll have the time and space to gain more confidence. Her brother Tango brings her a lot of comfort, if you’re looking to adopt another kitten. She’ll watch him venture out first, then follow once she sees how much fun he’s having.

Charlie's adoption donation is $135 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
