My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Carrie, a gorgeous 3-4-year-old, 40-pound sweetheart, is still searching for her perfect family this winter in Las Vegas. She’s the ultimate human companion, known for her loyalty and love. Whether it’s snuggling up on a cozy evening or soaking up the cooler desert sun during a brisk walk, Carrie will be your ultimate sidekick.

Carrie thrives as the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention she truly deserves. She’s ready to celebrate the holidays—and every day after—with her forever family by her side.

Could Carrie be the missing piece to your family this season? Reach out to meet her and find out!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an adoption application and submit to a home check. We require a two week trial adoption prior to finalizing the adoption when the adoption contract is signed and adoption fees collected. Our adoption fees are typically $100 for dogs and $50 for cats.

Go meet their pets

Our adoptable dogs and cats are all in foster homes and an adoption application must be submitted first in order for a meet to be arranged.

More about this rescue

Animal Help Alliance rescues animals from our local shelters as well as community animals in danger of going to the shelter. We then provide them with any medical treatment or behavior training they need in order to be successfully adopted. We mainly focus on pit bull type dogs and Chihuahuas as those are the ones most in danger of euthanasia at the shelters. We support our local shelters in their efforts to go "no kill" and our ultimate goal is a No Kill Las Vegas.
