My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Auggie or Auggie Doggie, if you please! I am about 10 months old, and they say I am a Silver Pocket Pittie mix, but my fosters say I am 100% cute. I was found as a stray in a very weak and emaciated condition, but the nice people who found me are fostering me and giving me lots of TLC. I've already put on weight and currently weigh about 30 lbs. I need to gain a few more, but no problem with the yummy food and treats I've been getting!
Foster mom says I am the sweetest little pup around, and I love to give puppy kisses and snuggles. I love chew toys and playing with the other dogs in my foster home, but my favorite thing is being a lap dog and following my people around. I just love being with them! I'm learning basic commands and even learning how to play fetch. I walk well on leash, and love car rides. I am potty and crate trained. I'm really a very good pup! Please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Submit Application

You may complete an application via our website at http://www.humanetomorrow.org/adopt/.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats

Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs

The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.

Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
