Meet sweet Arya! She is an adorable 8 month old Jack/Aussie mix. She is a smaller pup that weighs 30 lbs so she will probably be around 40 lbs. Her personality is great! She wants to be with people and loves everything. That includes dogs and cats. She is just ready to be in a home for Christmas and not growing up in a kennel. Please call us 815-626-2994!

Additional adoption info

All pet adoptions require a completed adoption application. Our office staff and volunteers act as matchmakers to find animals good homes. Your responses on the adoption application help them make a good match. You can also take our Meet Your Match survey (see below), which matches adopters with pets.

Adopters must be 21 years of age and live within 200 miles of our shelter.

The adoption fee is designed to offset some of the expenses we incur in caring for each animal.

Dogs - $200
Puppies - $250 (6 months and younger)
Cats - $25 (seniors), $65 (adult cats)
Kittens - $80 (kittens 6 months and under)
