Meet Diamond: The Sweet, Strong, and Devoted Mama. Diamond is a 2-year-old mixed breed who is 100% good girl through and through. While we can’t pinpoint exactly what she’s mixed with, we’re pretty sure she’s the perfect blend of sweetness and strength. She’s also an incredibly loving mom to four adorable puppies—two boys and two girls—who are growing up fast and will be ready for their forever homes after December 19th.
Diamond’s journey hasn’t been easy. After an emergency c-section to save her life and the lives of her babies, she is now spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to begin the next chapter of her life. Despite everything she’s been through, Diamond is all about love, happiness, and enjoying every moment.
Her foster family has nothing but praise for this sweet girl! From the moment her puppies were just two weeks old, Diamond was already asking to play with the resident dogs—and she has loved every minute of it. She’s a social butterfly who enjoys meeting other dogs, playing, and then returning to care for her little ones. Diamond is wonderfully gentle and nurturing with her puppies, but when it’s time to play, she’s all about having fun and soaking up affection from her humans.
Diamond is great with humans and other dogs, although she has not been tested with children yet. We can’t imagine any issues, though, and think she would do well with a family who understands the gentle nature of a loving mom. As for cats, well, that’s still a mystery—but she’s certainly a dog who loves company!
If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and devoted companion, Diamond just might be the perfect fit for you. She’s ready to start a new chapter in her life and would love to meet her forever family soon!
If you are interested in adopting Diamond, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.
**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
