My name is Rex!

Rex was found by a neighbor when we lived in Colorado before moving here. He had been abandoned and just turned 1. He is now 2 years old and is a sweet, loving, loyal dog that loves everyone and all other dogs. We took him in and think he had been abused, we think also left outside and not fed well. He was underweight and we got him back on track pretty quickly. We got him neutered, microchipped, and shots immediately (November of 2023). He has a problem though of escaping and it is very difficult to get him to come back. We had to move to Michigan in September. The escaping has continued and our landlord and neighbors are retaliating so we need to find him a new home. He needs lots of land and running opportunity. He is great with dogs and children (even small ones). He loves dog parks, car rides, playing in water, and cuddles all the time.
We love him so much and want to make sure he goes to someone who will love him, too and give him a safe and good home that he deserves.
