My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Almond is an adorable little puppy with a heart full of love! With his soft, caramel-colored fur and playful spirit, Almond is looking forward to a loving home of his very own. Almond has struggled to adjust to the hustle and bustle of shelter life and is looking for a home with an experienced adopter that can take things slow and allow him extra time to acclimate to his new environment. Almond would do best in a quiet, low-traffic home, with slow introductions to new people and places. He may benefit from another social dog in the home to help build his confidence. By going slow, creating a safe space, using positive reinforcement and letting Almond set the pace, he is sure to become a loving canine companion.

Almond`s ideal home:
- An experienced dog owner in a quiet, low traffic home
- An adopter willing to be his advocate when meeting new people or in situations he may find to be stressful or overwhelming
- May do best with another social canine companion
- Recommend mature children in the home meet prior to adoption

Almond is Available for Adoption in a foster home! If you are interested in meeting him, please call 1-866-648-6263 to learn more about Almond!
