My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! I`m Maizy, an 18-month-old, female, Beagle mix weighing just 20 pounds. My days are filled with playing with other doggies, collecting my toys in a big pile, and snuggling up for a good nap. I`m an expert at cuddling and want nothing more than to be on or near your lap. I’m very attached to my person and I want to follow you everywhere! I seem to be house trained and I walk well on a leash. For the most part I’m a calm, affectionate girl. I do enjoy running and getting my zoomies out, whether it’s inside around the house or outside during nice weather. I`m a good listener and I promise to always be there for you, to offer comfort and joy. I may not be a puppy, but I have the heart of one!

Maizy has been spayed, microchipped, and kept current on vaccines and monthly preventatives. You can email julianshumate@gmail.com with any questions or fill out an application here: https://humanesocietyofwilkes.org/adopt/application/julians. To ensure your application was received please email the foster home. You can expect an email response within a week of applying.
