My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ABOUT ME…
Hello, I am Crimson!! I am a dachshund mix that is a little shy at first, but once I know you are ok, I would love to be your best friend! I love to cuddle and give kisses. I am fostered in a home with other dogs ranging from 5 weeks to 14 years old, so I get along with all age groups! I was rescued out of a hoarding case, and I am just learning how to be a dog, but I am fast learner! My foster Mommy has been working with me and I am also learning from the other dogs.

I AM GREAT WITH…
I am a great cuddler. I get along great with the other dogs. I am a fast learner. I share easily and treats drive me to learn more. I am left freely in the house while my foster Mommy works and I have not messed with anything I'm not supposed to. I have been in a crate, but I honestly do well not being in it also.

I AM STILL WORKING ON…
I was not potty trained, but I am working hard on it, and I am almost there. I go outside and inside very easily. I also am not used to people feeding me treats, so my foster Mommy is always reminding me to take the treats nice, but I'm starting to understand.

I AM NOT GOOD WITH…
I am very afraid of leashes and belts. My foster Mommy has been laying them around the house so I can sniff them and know they will not hurt me. This may take a little time and patience. I also have not met any cats or children at this house, so I'm not sure how I will react to them.

I REQUIRE…
Just a little patience and understanding while I learn I do not have to be afraid of people or leashes. I promise you will see just how wonderful I am!
