My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Koya! I'm a friendly chap, always ready to make new friends. I'm smart too, I've figured out all the puzzles they give me here. My curious nature keeps me entertained, sniffing out hidden treats and toys. But I also have a funny side, my antics will surely make you laugh. I value my independence, but I'm a bit shy when meeting new people. Once I warm up to you, I become the cuddliest buddy you'll ever have. Adopt me and I promise to fill your life with joy, companionship and endless cuddles.

Go meet their pets

The Tulsa SPCA is keeping its main gate locked at all times in order to keep traffic to a minimum on our campus. All adoptions are virtual at this time so we will not be allowing visitors on the premises to meet dogs and cats. Thank you for your cooperation and patience.

More about this shelter

The Tulsa SPCA was founded in 1913 by a group of Tulsa citizens who were concerned about homeless dogs and cats and wanted to protect against abuse of draft animals used to do tilling on farms and heavy work in the mines and oil fields.

Our mission is to improve the lives of dogs and cats and engage the community to foster mutual well-being.

We value animals and believe that they deserve love, safety, and humane care. We provide safe, transitional shelter and medical care to all our cats and dogs. We place our animals into forever homes where they receive the companionship and care they deserve.
