Rozey is living in a foster home. Please submit an application from our website and/or email dogs@heartlandanimalshelter.org to learn if you are a match!
Rozey comes to us from a shelter partner in Kentucky. Rozey had been living in that crowded and underfunded rural shelter since July. She was in a kennel with several other dogs, and one of the staff favorites owing to her penchant for giving great hugs!
Rozey landed in a great foster home up here with cats and dogs! It has not been enough time to fully integrate her with the cats, but she is doing well. She loves to play with her canine foster siblings.
Her foster mom writes, "Rozey is an absolutely adorable puppy who radiates energy and love wherever she goes. Her playful spirit lights up every room, and she brings boundless happiness to those around her. Rozey has quickly become a beloved member of the household, enjoying the company of her three doggy siblings and trying her best to befriend the cats, even if the cats aren't quite ready to return the favor yet.
This sweet girl adjusted to her new environment beautifully. Though the first 24 hours were a little overwhelming, she quickly learned the ropes and now goes outside like a pro. Rozey is incredibly intelligent and eager to learn, which makes working on her jumping habit a rewarding experience—she’s already making great progress!
One of Rozey’s most endearing traits is her love for people. She adores cuddling and giving kisses, making her a perfect companion for anyone who loves a dog that shows affection with her whole heart.
Her enthusiasm for life is contagious, and she brings a sense of fun and warmth wherever she goes.
Rozey would thrive in a loving home where she can continue to grow, learn, and share her incredible love. With her lively personality and endless devotion, she’s sure to make her forever family very, very happy."
Rozey’s adoption fee is $250. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
