Meet Scarlet, an almost 2-year-old redbone coonhound mix who is ready to find her forever home! She was found as a stray in Cherokee County, Alabama, alongside her sister's five puppies after her sister was tragically hit by a car. Scarlet was surrendered to Big Dog Ranch and is settling in quite well as she focuses on her health.

Redbone coonhounds are known for their friendly disposition and strong hunting instincts. They are intelligent, energetic dogs that thrive on companionship and love to be active. Scarlet is eager to share her affectionate nature with a loving family. If you're looking for a loyal companion ready to embark on new adventures, Scarlet would be the perfect addition to your home!

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
