Meet Martha, a lovely lady with a personality that`s as vibrant as her spirit. Independent and smart, she can entertain herself but also loves a good game of fetch. Her playful nature is complemented by a sweet, albeit shy, demeanor. Martha can be anxious at times, requiring a patient companion who can provide her with the time and positive reinforcement she needs to adjust. Her love for toys is unparalleled and she hopes her new family offers her plenty! While she may need some time to warm up, once she does, you`ll have a loyal and loving friend for life. Martha`s intelligence, playfulness, and sweet nature make her a wonderful companion. Her adoption would not only provide her with a loving home, but also enrich the lives of her adoptive family with her delightful presence.

We have a simple adoption application and approval process. Our adoption fees vary by animal, but generally include neutering, age appropriate vaccinations, behavior and health assessments, and health insurance. In addition, all adopters have free access to our Adopter Support program for assistance with health or behavior issues that may arise.

Ours adoptable pets are available every day noon to 5pm except for Sunday and until 7 pm on Wednesdays!

Michigan Humane is the oldest and largest animal welfare organization in Michigan, taking in approximately 35,000 animals per year.
