Berry is a proud dad to his son, Gingo! Both were recently surrendered to the shelter and are looking for their forever homes.

Berry is a 3-year-old Boxer mix with a loving and handsome personality. He has more confidence than his son and knows commands like sit and paw. While Berry isn’t potty trained yet, he’s ready to learn with a patient and loving family. He can be a little head shy at times. Berry has spent most of his life outside, so he’s excited to experience the comforts of a loving home.

Berry showed interest in cats but was a bit hesitant, needing a confident cat in the home. When tested with another dog, Kabob, Berry was initially excited but calmed down after some sniffing. He’s a bit dominant but gets along well with submissive dogs.

To adopt a pet, we encourage you to visit the Pet Adoption Center as often as you like. You will be asked to fill out an adopton application and speak to a staff member who will help you make your selection. We are happy to keep your information on file and work with you to the best of our ability to help you find the perfect pet. Adoption fees are $60.00 this includes, spay or neuter, microchip, worming, some vaccinations, and heartworm test for. We offer a feline leukemia test for $15.00 non refundable at the time of adoption.

We are located across from the St. Charles Community College, approximately 3 miles south of I70 and 1 mile north of Hwy 94 on Mid Rivers Mall Drive. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10am to 5pm, Wednesday 10am to 6:30pm, and Saturday 10 to 4pm

St. Charles County Pet Adoption Center is a full service animal shelter. Our Animal Control Officers work throughout St. Charles County to protect animals and people and educate animal owners about responsible pet ownership. At our Pet Adoption Center, we take in strays for safe keeping until their owners come to claim them. We offer microchipping services to the public during our regular business hours. The Pet Adoption Center always has a large variety of dogs and cats available for adoption.
