My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable litter of Chihuahua mix puppies has already overcome so much in their short lives. Born to a feral mother who didn’t know how to care for them, these resilient little ones were found in rough shape, suffering from skin issues and malnourishment. At 9 weeks old and around 8 pounds each, they’re well on their way to a full recovery and are expected to grow to about 25 pounds, just like their mom. Despite their tough start, these pups are full of love and potential. With the right care and attention, they’re ready to thrive and become loyal, playful companions. Their sweet personalities are starting to shine as they heal, and they’re now looking for homes where they can grow and be cherished. If you’re ready to help these tiny fighters write their happy ending, come meet the Fantastic Four and give them the loving forever homes they deserve.

More about this rescue

Save the Satos Inc. is a non-profit, registered 501c3 organization which is focused on changing the lives of the stray dogs (known to the locals as Satos) of Puerto Rico. We rescue the unwanted dogs of the island, and transport them to NJ where they are placed in loving foster homes. The Satos are made happy and healthy, socialized, spayed/neutered and put up for adoption to find their forever home.

Save the Satos also focuses on helping pet owners in Puerto Rico by providing food, shelter, spay/neuter, flea/tick/heart worm prevention, vaccines and veterinary care to families in need.
