My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Indoor only*

Laurel was living outside for quite a while--she had five litters of kittens in the last two years! Now that they’ve all grown and moved on, Laurel is trying out indoor life.
While she’s enjoying the warmth and love of becoming a pet, there’s one purrsonality trait she won’t give up: Laurel LOVES to mother every creature in sight. As soon as another kitty walks past, she is pulling them to her so she can groom them.
Laurel uses her litter box, and loves both wet and dry food. She especially loves a nightly treat before bed.

Adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
