Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello there, I'm Wesley! I'm still quite young, so I've got lots of energy for playtime. I love chasing after toys, pouncing on feathers, and exploring every nook and cranny. My curiosity knows no bounds! I'm also a quick learner, figuring out puzzles and games in no time. But I'm not all about fun and games. I've got a sweet, affectionate side too. I love snuggling up for a good cuddle and I'm always ready to show my loyalty to my friends. I've been told I have a funny side, always ready to bring a smile to your face. So why should you adopt me? Well, I'm a bundle of joy, love, and loyalty. I promise to bring laughter, comfort, and companionship to your life. I'm ready to be your forever friend, are you ready to be mine?

More about this shelter
Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
