My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Odie!

Odie is a young, energetic pup with a heart full of love and a wag that never quits. This curious and confident boy has lived harmoniously with cats, is great with dogs, and has experience around children. Due to his size and energy, he’d thrive in a home with slightly older kids (5+) and playful, not-too-old dog companions.

This big cuddle bug is crate-trained, adores car rides, and will melt your heart with his sweet and goofy personality. He’s happiest with plenty of space to run and explore and would love a family who can match his enthusiasm for play and adventure. Be warned: Odie's curiosity sometimes leads him to check if that table snack might be for him!

Odie is ready to start a new chapter with a loving family who will give him the life he deserves. If he’s stolen your heart (and we know he has), contact us today to learn more. Let’s find Odie his forever home!

More about this rescue

We mainly rescue dogs and cats from local Animal Shelters/Control when those facilities are overcrowded. Our adoptable cats are located in our H.O.P.E. Pet Adoption Center in the Wilton Mall and dogs are in individual foster homes.

We have educational programs for children and adults about choosing a pet and the responsibilities of pet ownership, and safety around animals.

We welcome volunteers for any of these programs or for our fundraising committee.
