My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Orwell. I was rescued at 3 weeks old with my mommy and 4 brothers. I was lucky to get a foster home so we could all grow up together and be safe. I am such a handsome boy with my color pattern and spots. I am a very active boy. I love to run and wrestle with my brothers. You will laugh at some of my flips and walks I do. I love all toys. I love to climb the cat tower to the top. I love helping my foster mommy with scooping the litter box. I feel I need to supervise at all times with this and help her swat the trash bag when it moves. Once I am done playing I love to go over and climb on my foster mommy lap or in her arms and take a nap. I am going to be such a lover boy. I may be a little shy at first meeting but warm up fast. I hope you pick me to come home with you. Maybe you want to take one of my brothers too.

More about this shelter

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is a limited-admission humane society and provides services to over 34,000 cats, dogs, puppies, and kittens each year. Operating continuously since 1925, we have been positively impacting animal welfare and addressing overpopulation in Palm Beach County through a variety of services.

Our Vision is to create a community where 100% of the adoptable animals find loving homes and no animals will be euthanized because of pet overpopulation.

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, Humane Society of the Palm Beaches, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and does not receive funding from city, county, state, or federal government, or local organizations with similar names. We rely solely on the generosity of individuals, foundations, and corporations to provide quality programs and services to the community. Your donations directly support the services and programs in place to help animals in need.

Our mission is to provide shelter to lost, homeless and unwanted animals; to furnish medical and other services for the care of companion animals; to care for, protect, and find quality homes for homeless and neglected animals; to advocate animal welfare, community involvement, and education to further the bond between people and animals, for the mutual benefit of both.
