Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Crash is a lovable, long-eared basset hound who never meets a stranger! This sweet girl adores everyone she comes across—kids, adults, other pets—you name it! Whether she’s racing around the yard with the little ones or lounging on the couch for a soap opera marathon, Crash is all about spending quality time with her people. Her goofy charm and wagging tail will light up your home, and she’s always ready for a cuddle or a play session. Crash is the perfect companion for a family looking for a dog who brings joy, energy, and unconditional love. She will need to be on C/D food (urinary care) for the rest of his life. Adoption Fee: $225.00 Fill out an application for Crash today: www.gchumsoc.org/adoption-application

More about this shelter
Grant County Humane Society was founded on April 13, 1998 by a group of caring individuals who saw the need to provide a safe place for homeless and lost animals to reside until new homes were found or their owners reclaimed them. For the first 9 years, animals were placed in various foster homes until adopted or reclaimed.
In 2007, a large monetary donation from Joan Fjoslien, along with several business and individual contributions, helped GCHS reach their goal for a building fund and allowed for the purchase of a building on the east side of Elbow Lake where animals could be housed. Joan and her husband, Dave, lived and farmed south of Brandon from 1996 until Dave’s death in 2004. Both had a lifelong love of animals, especially dogs. In Joan’s words, “Dogs were special to us, and it gives me a good feeling to know that they will be well cared for in the new Grant County Humane Society building.” GCHS is forever grateful to Joan Fjoslien for her generous contribution.
GCHS is a tax-deductible 501(c)(3) non-profit organization funded entirely by memberships, donations, grants, fundraisers, and adoption fees. We are a no-kill animal shelter.
