Meet Penelope! The sweet and affectionate little girl who adores people. This little lady loves to cuddle and just one look from you will have her purring nonstop. Penelope is the perfect combination of cuddly and playful, all wrapped up in a ridiculously cute little package!

Penelope is very easy-going and good natured and she would do well in any home environment. Her main concern is making sure her future forever home has plenty of wand toys and laps to sit on! Since she is still so young, Penelope will need to be adopted into a home with another kitty friend to play with, or with another kitty from FFF. She would especially love to be adopted with her foster friend Franklin. Penelope has interacted with adults, children, and other kitty friends in her foster home and done well with all of them. She hasn’t met any dogs yet, but she’s a very social kitty who would likely do well with a canine friend as long as she is given a slow and supervised introduction.

Little Penelope is a total play machine! She goes absolutely crazy for wand toys and she will leap super high through the air to catch them. Penelope takes her games of chase very seriously and she makes the cutest little growls once she catches the toy! She makes sure everyone knows she's a fierce predator. Believe us, no mice will want to step foot in a house with Penelope on guard. And you’ll never get tired of watching Penelope leap through the air to catch her toy and then proudly carry it around while growling in triumph!

Once she’s tuckered out from play time, Penelope loves to snuggle up for cuddles on a warm lap! She is so affectionate and loving, she loves being pet and she’ll definitely let you know it. Penelope would snuggle with you all day if she could!

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
