FLEECE was found living in a barn with many other cats and he came into rescue along with his sibling (Flannel) and is now looking for his forever family. He’s had his first vaccine, a microchip, several doses of dewormer and been deemed a healthy boy by her vet. His neuter’s included in the adoption fee and it’s booked for January 28th and his adopter must be available to bring him to the clinic in Barrie for it. He’s definitely the more timid one of the two brothers and he takes a bit little longer to warm up so his adopter would have to be a little patient with him while he gets himself comfortable.
FLEECE will run around and play with his brother and also chase the cat toys across the floor especially the crinkly ones. He’ll spend a lot of time with the cat toys that have a ball in them that he can bat around and chase and he’ll spend a lot of time playing with them. He does enjoy lounging in the cat tree and will take the odd nap in it too.
FLEECE is litter box trained and has used it since first coming into rescue. As much as this little guy is the quiet one he also has an adventurous side to him and loves to run around and explore his surroundings. He has several dogs in his home and one of them has really taken a shine to him and they’ll just lay together. been caught. We feel he’ll do well with a cat savvy dog as long as a slow, monitored introduction is made and the dog should be leashed at that time too. He would do well with another feline companion but one who’s not too energetic and definitely more laid back like he is. Children should be age 6 plus and be loving, caring and gentle towards animals.
If FLEECE sounds like he’ll fit into your family then please put in an adoption application to meet him.
