THIMBLE was found dumped in a field along with his siblings (Thimble, Bobbin and Zipper) and is now looking for his forever family. He’s had his first vaccine, a microchip, several doses of dewormer and been deemed a healthy boy by his vet. His neuter is included in his adoption fee and it’s booked for January 28th and his adopter must be available to bring him to the clinic in Barrie for it. This little guy is very loving, energetic and a people lover. He can also be a busy boy and run around with the other kittens in the home and he’ll chase his cat toys across the floor. One of his favourite things to do is have his quiet moments by lounging in the cat tree and watching the wildlife in the backyard.
THIMBLE is litter box trained and has used it since first coming into rescue. As much as this little guy is an adventurous one, he also has a very sweet, loving side to him and snuggling with his foster is always on his list of things to do. When he’s being held he turns into a purring machine and will curl up and fall asleep right there. He can be quite vocal if he figures he’s being ignored as he does love to get attention. He’s often found in a sunny spot soaking up the sun while lounging on one of his many cat beds. He’s fostered with a puppy who loves to chase the kittens but he’s very gentle with them. We feel he’ll do well with a cat savvy dog as long as a slow, monitored introduction is made and the dog should be leashed at that time too. He would do well with another feline companion and one who’s pretty energetic and would be open to dealing with his kitten antics. Children should be age 6 plus and be loving, caring and gentle towards animals.
If THIMBLE sounds like the guy for you then please put in an adoption application to meet him.
