Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hello everyone! I'm Sweetpea, a delightful 3-year old pug blend, which means I'm part pug and part cuteness! I'm a quick learner when it comes to house rules, with respect for furniture, shoes, and such - no scratching or chewing here! I'm fully potty trained and will sit by the door to let you know I need to go out. I sleep all night in my kennel without making a peep and also enjoy chilling in it during the day if you're not available for snuggles. You'll be pleased to know I only speak up when guests arrive or if a stranger approaches me on a walk. My Foster mom says that's not polite though, so she's helping me control those outbursts. I do like to be left alone when eating, but will not bother others. I prefer to make friends at my own pace rather than being rushed and would do best in a quieter household with no little ones. I really appreciate my full pug foster sister since she respects personal space. If you work from home I will happily sleep in your lap, or at your feet to keep you company. I'm not super playful and would prefer to snuggle on the couch. Though I'm originally from sunny Las Vegas, I don't mind the rain one bit. My crowning glories? My incredibly soft, cashmere-like coat, my adorably charming underbite, and my big curly tail that looks like a cinnamon bun on my rump! If you'd like to know more about me, or meet me, go ahead and fill out an adoption application so the team here can see if we're a good fit!

Additional adoption info
Thank you for your interest in adopting from Church of Pug.
Everyone at Church of Pug is a volunteer. We wear many hats - we foster pugs, travel to vet appointments, attend fundraising events, process a lot of paperwork, and more. We make every effort to respond to inquiries in a timely manner but often the days get away from us. For this reason, we will do our best to reach out to everyone. We’ll let you know your application has been received either through a phone call, text or email.
PLEASE take your time completing the below application and fill out questions in detail! This is the information our adoption team will use to make initial determinations when selecting applicants to proceed in the interview process as dogs become available and we begin the process of finding its forever family.
READ the information on each dog's biography page carefully. If you are interested in applying to adopt a dog, please ensure you meet the stated requirements. All of these dogs live with our foster families and that means we know their story -- we understand what they have been through and what they need in a forever home. All decisions are made with the dogs' best interests in mind.
