My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kuro and his brothers Koda and Kenta were rescued from the streets of Memphis when they were tiny, fragile, sickly kittens. The fate of their mother is unknown. A Memphis cat rescue group took them home to foster and nurture and they did an amazing job bringing them back to life!

Kuro is sweet as sugar and full of spice! He loves to play and wrestle, but also loves to be held in your lap and get all the pets. Want to pet his cute tummy? He doesn’t mind! He is CEO of the biscuit-making factory and has even been known to make biscuits when receiving a vaccine. This little love muffin will greet you at the door to welcome you home and then entertain you for hours with kitten hijinx! He is the perfect companion and we are so excited that he gets to come to HART to find his home.

HART requires that young kittens be adopted in pairs unless you have an existing kitten or young cat at home. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions. Rather this ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development. Most rescue groups have similar policies regarding kittens.
