My story

9/19/10: Give a warm welcome to little miss Lily, a 13 week old Pit Bull Terrier mix.

Lily and her 3 other siblings were recently rescued by our volunteers. They are cute as buttons!

Lily is a petite brindle colored puppy. She is a lucky girl, having a chance to live in a foster home. Lily has a wonderful personality Typical playful, curious pup. As we get to know Lily more, we will update this posting.

Applications for Lily and her siblings are currently being accepted; however there is a stipulation you should be aware of before sending in an application. Lily (like all puppies) will require basic obedience training. Adopters must commit to signing Lily up for dog training classes at the time of adoption.

Lily will be fully vetted and up-to-date on vaccines prior to being adopted. $350 adoption donation is required prior to adoption of puppies. $50 is refunded to the adopter once proof of spay, at the appropriate age, is provided to us. A vet reference check and home visit are also required prior to adoption.

Note: We ordinarily limit adoptions to homes within CT or no more than an hour or so drive from our kennel in order to be able to conduct a home visit and provide follow-up assistance when necessary. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.
