Dog Name: Citation
Breed: Dane mix
Sex: Female
Age: 7 weeks
Weight: 9lbs
Medical Needs: Will need to be spayed once she's old enough. That appointment will be scheduled by Grass Roots Rescue, and must be kept as a condition of adoption (location options will be Georgetown, Dover or Wilmington).
Foster to adopt family must live within 1 hour of Delaware to ensure she can be brought back for her appointment, and will also need to be willing to have her stomach tacked with their vet (at their expense) when she’s of age if it is recommended based on her size.
Housebroken: No
Crate trained: No
Good in the car: Yes
Good on a leash: Hasn't had one yet
Energy level: Puppy!
Need a fenced in yard: No, leashed walks will be fine
Dog Friendly: Yes
If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No
Cat Friendly? Yes
Kid Friendly: Yes
If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Any age with proper supervision
Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them?
Citation is the biggest of the girls, and probably the most mellow of the three of them. She tends to hang back in the fray while the others jump for attention, and once it's her turn to be scooped up, she settles right into my arms like it's what she's been waiting for the whole time.
Fosters Location: Townsend, DE
Application can be found here: https://www.grrde.org/adoption-application (if you already have an approved application on file email GrassRootsDE@gmail.com and ask the app team to pull your app)
