This helps The Furry Farm Rescue with pet care costs.
Keva is a feminine name of Irish origin. A phonetic spelling of the name Caoimhe, this name translates to “gentle,” “beautiful,” and “precious.”
This sentient sole deserves so much after the trauma she has endured. Severely under weight and injured, this girl was roaming in the streets for who knows how long. Luckily she was picked up by an Animal Control Officer for SCRAPS, and brought to the safety of the shelter. We work hard to get dogs like Keva out of the shelter and into rescue so they can heal from their medical traumas in a home environment, along with our medical experts helping along the way.
With the first step completed; finding a foster, we went to work on all her medical needs. It's been a little slow going because she was so underweight. As we started working into her care, we found Keva to have internal trauma along with her broken leg. On her surgery day, we decided to break up the efforts and paused on doing her amputation for a few more weeks. When amputation day came back around, she did great! Keva is now spayed, healed up inside and out and is doing great. We do have one more medical treatment to be carried out in January, but Keva is ready to find her home.
What does Keva's dream adopter look like? Could be retired or work from home, someone ready to shower her with attention and love?
Keva is a young adult Husky, on the smaller side. She weighs around 30lbs and is great size for loading up in the car and going places. She is house broke, does great with other dogs, cats and kiddos. Keva is current on vaccinations, deworming, and microchipped.
Adoption donation is $200
