Meet Frances (Frankie)!

Frankie is a beautiful young poodle mix around a year or two old who we believe spent most of her life living outside on property with multiple other dogs. It's apparent her interactions with humans has been limited. When she first arrived Frankie was very shut down and avoided us. As the weeks have passed, she has relaxed and opened up to her regular caregivers and become more comfortable meeting new people, especially if they have treats! Frankie will now gently lean in for pets or jump up for attention. Frankie's journey will be ongoing, she is seeking an adopter who will help build her confidence and expose her to the world in a positive, constructive manner. Frankie would not be well suited for a first time dog owner. Frankie would do well with another friendly, well balanced dog in the home, but because Frankie can be nervous around fast movements and loud noises we think a home without young kids would be ideal.
